PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a fixing device of an electromagnetic induction system, in which a magnetic core material that forms an open magnetic path is inserted into a cylindrical rotation body, wire is wound around the core material in the direction crossing the rotation axis, and a magnetic field is generated in the axis direction of the cylindrical rotation body to cause the cylindrical rotation body to generate heat, the temperature in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical rotation body varies depending on the drive frequency to be employed, resulting in the generation of gloss unevenness and an offset of toner.SOLUTION: A thermistor is disposed at a position where the maximum temperature is recorded in the axis direction of a cylindrical rotation body at an allowable lower limit value of a drive frequency, and a thermistor is disposed at a position where the maximum temperature is recorded in the axis direction of the cylindrical rotation body at an allowable upper limit value of a drive frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
