PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve target detection accuracy of a target detector.SOLUTION: A radar device comprises: a transmission unit transmitting a radar wave constituted of a continuous wave at a specified cycle; a receiving unit generating a beat signal BT by mixing a received arrival wave with the radar wave; and a signal processing unit executing target detection processing for detecting a target reflecting the radar wave. In the target detection processing, the signal processing unit extracts a signal value per specified time that is an inverse of a frequency of a direct-current component from the beat signal BT generated by the receiving unit, calculates an approximate curve of a plurality of signal values as a direct-current component signal, and generates a target signal by subtracting the calculated direct-current component signal from the beat signal BT (S210). Furthermore, the signal processing unit detects the target from which the arrival wave is generated (S290, S300) on the basis of a result of performing a frequency analysis on the target signal (S220 to S260).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
