PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control a purge flow rate and properly reducing the pressure of a target space including a fuel tank at a time of leakage determination.SOLUTION: An evaporative fuel treatment apparatus comprises: a purge pipe 24 connecting a canister 18 to an intake passage 14; and a purge control valve 26 and a pump 28 provided in the purge pipe 24. An ECU 37 controls a purge flow rate of evaporative fuel by controlling at least one of the purge control valve 26 and the pump 28. Furthermore, the ECU 37 reduces a pressure of a target space 36 for which leakage determination is carried out by driving the pump 28 for the target space 36. At this time, the ECU 37 reduces the pressure of the target space 36 so as to generate a gas flow toward an atmospheric port 21 of the canister 18 via the canister 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
