PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom in the combination of battery cells to be discharged in a capacity equalization device.SOLUTION: A capacity equalization device 20 is applied in a battery pack 10 composed of battery cells 11 connected in series, and equalizes the remaining capacities of the battery cells 11. The battery pack 10 has a plurality of blocks BL composed of two or more battery cells 11 adjacent to each other. The battery pack 10 comprises: first capacitors C11 to C13, which are provided for each block BL, are charged by their being connected in parallel with each battery cell 11 of the block BL via a first switch SWa, and are mutually connected in series via a second switch SWb; and a second capacitor C2, which is charged by its being connected to the in-series-connected first capacitors C11 to C13 in parallel via third switches SWc1p, SWc3n, and connected to the battery cell 11 in parallel via the first switch SWa and third switch SWc, thereby charging the battery cell 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
