PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission failure determination device capable of efficiently locating a fault portion as early as possible if a failure occurs that a clutch hydraulic pressure is low.SOLUTION: If it is determined that a clutch hydraulic pressure detected by hydraulic pressure detection means is lower than a specified pressure, then solenoid valves (SHA), (SHB) are excited to output a clutch hydraulic pressure to one of a plurality of gear engagement mechanisms via a first oil passage, and it is determined whether one of the gear engagement mechanisms operates on the basis of an output from operation state detection means. If it is determined that the gear engagement mechanism does not operate, it is determined that a second pressure regulating valve (first linear solenoid valve) (LSA) or (LSB) fails (S10 to S18). If it is determined that the gear engagement mechanism operates, it is determined that at least any of the solenoid valves and the hydraulic detection means fails (S20 to S26).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
