PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which is improved in productivity without lowering the success ratio of pick-up spinning in a spinning machine provided with a yarn storage roller.SOLUTION: There is provided a spinning machine in which a spinning device comprises a draft device, an air spinning device, and a yarn storage roller. The draft device has a plurality of draft rollers including a front roller and drafts a fiber bundle. The air spinning device performs spinning to produce a yarn by twisting the fiber bundle drafted by the draft device. The yarn storage roller winds and stores the yarn produced by the air spinning device on the surface. Circumferential speed of the front roller in pick-up spinning differs from that in an ordinary spinning performed after the pick-up spinning. Circumferential speed of the yarn storage roller in pick-up spinning differs from that in an ordinary spinning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
