PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new system for the transmission of force between a barrel drum and a bridle.SOLUTION: A barrel 1 includes a mainspring 2 cooperating internally with a core 4, externally with a track 6 of a drum 7 by means of a resilient sliding bridle 8. The track 6 and the bridle 8 are of non-circular shape, nest one inside the other in the free state of the bridle 8 and are configured to make one raised portion 12 of the bridle 8 abuttingly engage with a sill 11 of the track 6 when the torque applied to the bridle 8 is less than a torque limit value, and to allow the raised portion 12 to radially constrict when the torque is greater than the limit value. Thereby, the raised portion 12 can pass over the sill 11 and the bridle 8 can travel angularly under the effect of the torque until the next encounter between one the sill 11 and one the raised portion 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
