PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an accurate zero-cross point.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus includes: a detection unit for detecting a plurality of zero-cross samples, each of which has a sign different from that of its adjacent sample, from a plurality of samples obtained by performing oversampling on a received signal; a conversion unit for converting positions of the plurality of zero-cross samples detected by the detection unit into a window based on a position of any one reference zero-cross sample; a calculation unit for calculating the average value of relative distances between the respective zero-cross samples after the conversion by the conversion unit and the reference zero-cross sample; and a determination unit for determining, on the basis of the average value of relative distances calculated by the calculation unit and the reference zero-cross sample, a zero-cross point to be a base point for estimating a peak position of the received signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
