PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device capable of suppressing the generation of a fogged image.SOLUTION: A development device 4 comprises: a first spiral 31 and a second spiral 32 that agitate and convey a developer; a developer supply member 35 that supplies a developer to the first spiral 31; and a development container 40 that houses these components. In the development container 40, a supply port 40g for supplying a developer from the developer supply member 35 to the first spiral 31 is formed. The developer supply member 35 includes: a rotation shaft 35a; a third spiral blade 35b for agitating and conveying a developer; a dam part 35d that protrudes substantially perpendicularly to the rotation shaft 35a and dams a developer conveyed by the third spiral blade 35b in an A2 direction; and a paddle part 35e that supplies a developer from a developer replenishment path 40f to a first conveyance chamber 40a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
