PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of recognition, in an input method for deciding an input value on the basis of a combination of input directions of lines.SOLUTION: After a first-time finger movement direction is detected, a movement direction recognition region for updating a reference point having an updating region for determining whether or not a finger moves to the same direction as the first time is created, and when the finger moves into the updating region, a position of the finger at that time is updated as a new second-time reference point. When the second-time movement of the finger is finished, a second-time movement direction recognition region is created, and a second-time movement direction is detected. By this constitution, even if numbers of the movement directions at the first time and the second time differ from each other, a position of a reference point B being a reference of the second-time movement direction recognition region can be updated. As a result, the reduction of the number of the second-time detection directions and the updating of the reference point for detecting the second-time direction are made compatible, and the improvement of the accuracy of recognition can be expected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
