PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferably maintain a contact load of an elastic contact piece of a female terminal to a round pin-shaped electric contact part of a male terminal to thereby increase reliability in electrical connection.SOLUTION: A terminal connection structure is configured such that a circular cross-sectional, round pin-shaped electric contact part 15 of a male terminal is inserted into an outer cylinder part 9 of a female terminal 1, thereby bringing the electric contact part 15 into contact with an elastic contact piece 11 in the outer cylinder part. A tapered inclined surface 15b is provided at a tip 15a of the electric contact part 15. A circular cross-sectional hollow cylindrical part 4 with an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the electric contact part is provided in the insertion direction of the electric contact part in a manner communicating with the outer cylinder part 9. With the tapered inclined surface 15b brought into contact with an inner peripheral end 4c of the hollow cylindrical part 4, the electric contact part 15 and the elastic contact piece 11 are brought into contact with each other at a predetermined contact load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
