PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for improving position accuracy of a terminal when a rectangular terminal is press-fitted to a connector housing.SOLUTION: A front side position correcting protrusion 70a abuts on a boundary part between a second guide part 32b and the top face of a cavity body 31 as shown in the figure 6(b). The height of a terminal body 51 including a position correcting protrusion 70 is set to an almost same height as the height of the cavity body 31 of a cavity part 30. Accordingly, the front side position correcting protrusion 70a abuts on the top face of the cavity body 31, and such force that the undersurface 54 of the terminal body 51 is brought into contact with the bottom face of the cavity body 31 is thereby applied, and positions are corrected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
