PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified partition body that allows a modification member to be installed as prescribed between existing members, even when an interval between the existing two members that remain after modification has altered from the initial interval.SOLUTION: The modified partition body is, for example, a panel-type partition unit, and includes vertical frame members 22, 23 that are two first members extending in any one of a vertical direction and a lateral direction, and a lower frame member 21 that is a second member extending in the other of the vertical and lateral directions and is installed between the vertical frame members 22, 23 at a time of modification, the vertical and lower frame members having been installed in the partition unit before modification for constituting the partition unit before modification, and left after the modification.
