PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head structured so as to prevent a nozzle plate mounted on an ink discharge surface from peeling off.SOLUTION: An ink jet head includes: longitudinal laminated piezoelectric members which are bonded with mutual polarization directions inverted and are mounted on a substrate; a plurality of pressure chambers formed of grooves as ink flow paths orthogonal in a longitudinal direction of the laminated piezoelectric members; electrodes formed in the pressure chambers; frame members surrounding the pressure chambers and mounted on the substrate; and a nozzle plate where nozzles discharging the ink are formed and which is mounted on the ink discharge surface and the frame members of the laminated piezoelectric members so that the nozzles correspond to the pressure chambers. The laminated piezoelectric members are such that the ink discharge surface at the end part side apart from the nozzles more roughened than that at a part where the nozzles are formed in the longitudinal direction of the pressure chambers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
