<p>The invention relates to a method for detecting persons in a space using a depth map acquired by an optical sensor, including the following steps: first removal of a first background from the depth map in order to obtain a first map to be analysed; first detection of persons in the first map to be analysed; second removal of a second background from the depth map in order to obtain a second map to be analysed, the second background being the product of the first background and a second number falling strictly between 0 and 1; and second detection of persons in the second map to be analysed.</p> |
