The clip (10) has a fixing part (16) for fixing a cable (12) on the clip. Another fixing part (18) fixes the clip on a support (14). The latter fixing part includes a U-shaped plastic section (20) that is provided with a core (24), where the core is prolonged by wings (26) carrying teeth (32, 34). The teeth are provided with fixing ends to enclose a side (38) of a wall of the support. The section carries a protection configuration before fixing the cable to the support. A protection unit prevents inopportune fixing of the cable between the fixing ends of the teeth.
