<p>The device has a processing unit (100) utilizing a primary movable platform position information provided by an inertial unit and utilizing a secondary movable platform position information provided by the inertial unit for determining distance (90) between primary and secondary movable platforms (70, 80). A global positioning system receiver is arranged on the inertial unit. A laser range-finder placed on the inertial unit is used for correction of derivatives of inertial sensors within usage time of the device, where the device is operated independently from climatic conditions.</p> |
