According to the present invention, a safety cap for a rebar comprises: a main body having an insertion groove unit concavely formed thereon; and a magnet disposed on the main body. The safety cap for a rebar in accordance with the present invention is prevented from separating from a rebar by meshing a protrusion of the rebar with a protruding unit disposed on the inside of an insertion unit. Also, if the safety cap for the rebar is separated and falls into a form, a magnetic property of the magnet disposed on a cap unit of the safety cap for the rebar can be used to easily recover the safety cap for the rebar by using iron which can be attached to the magnet without going into the form to recover the safety cap for the rebar.
