A CORRECTION METHOD FOR AN OUTPUT INFORMATION OF AN EGR VALVE

The present invention relates to a method for correcting output information of an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve, and more specifically, to a method for correcting output information of an EGR valve which outputs a reference output voltage when a real EGR valve is actually opened to more clearly notify a state of the EGR valve and to precisely control the EGR valve. The method for correcting output information of an EGR valve for a vehicle comprises: a step of operating a drive motor and operating a valve according to an operation of the drive motor; a step of collecting output voltage data and magnetic field data of a sensor indicating an opening/closing state of the valve from a fully closing operation to a fully opening operation; a step of comparing an output voltage of the sensor at a theoretical opening moment of the valve with an output voltage of the sensor at an actual opening moment, and acquiring a deviation between both voltages; and a step of considering the deviation to correct the output voltage of the sensor and to make the output voltage outputted when the valve is actually opened equal to a reference output voltage which is the output voltage at the theoretical opening moment of the valve.
