The present invention relates to a mobile terminal enabling the use of the terminal to be realized by more considering user convenience and a control method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal has an advantage of finding a desired part of a moving picture when a terminal user watches the moving picture on the terminal easily. The mobile terminal includes: a touch screen displaying a moving picture; and a control unit controlling some of a plurality of keyframe images for the moving picture to be displayed on the touch screen. The control unit controls at least one keyframe image to be displayed between adjacent first keyframe image and second keyframe image among the keyframe images in response to a touch input on the touch screen. |
