PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air bag device.SOLUTION: An air bag device includes: a main vent hole 3 which is formed in an air bag cushion 1 so as to discharge an expansion gas therein; a cover 5 which is provided on an outer side surface of the cushion 1 and formed so as to switch its state between a state where the cover 5 is separated from the main vent hole 3 by a provided tensile force to open the main vent hole 3 and a state where the cover 5 is placed in close contact with the main vent hole 3 to close the main vent hole 3, the cover 5 including an auxiliary vent hole 7 formed so as to discharge the expansion gas in the cushion 1; a tether 9 in which one end part is connected with the cover 5 and the other end part is fixed to an inner part of the cushion 1, the tether 9 formed so as to provide the tensile force to the cover 5 through the main vent hole 3; and a tether guide 11 which is provided on an inner side surface of the cushion 1, supports the tether 9, and is formed so that the tether 9 passes therethrough while slidably contacting with the inner side surface of the cushion 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
