1. A method for wireless communication, the method comprising:
receiving configuration information indicating at least one physical resource block (PRB) for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH); identifying a carrier indicator nCI for monitoring PDCCH candidates; and determining the PDCCH candidates based onL·{(Yp,k+⌊m·NCCE,p,kL·Mp(L)⌋+nCI)mod⌊NCCE,p,kL⌋}+i, wherein NCCE,p,k is a total number of control channel elements (CCEs) in PRB set p and DL subframe k,m is a PDCCH candidate index, L is an aggregation level of the CCEs, Mp(L) is a number of the PDCCH candidates for aggregation level L CCEs,m·NCCE,p,kL·Mp(L) is a floor function rounding a number to its lower integer, i is a integer, and Yp,k is a value associated with a terminal; and
monitoring the determined PDCCH candidates.
