Disclosed are a feedback and receiving method and device of channel state information, which are used for solving the problem that the existing pre-coding matrix cannot control a wave beam in the horizontal direction and vertical direction. The method comprises: a terminal selects a pre-coding matrix from a pre-set codebook subset for each sub-band in N sub-bands according to a configured reference signal, wherein each pre-coding matrix in the codebook subset is identified by a first PMI, a second PMI and a third PMI for representing a phase relationship, the first PMI corresponding to the pre-coding matrix selected by the terminal for all sub-bands in N sub-bands is identical, the pre-coding matrix selected by the terminal for each sub-band in N sub-bands respectively corresponds to one second PMI, and the third PMI corresponding to the pre-coding matrix selected by the terminal for all sub-bands in N sub-bands is identical; and the terminal reports the first PMI, the second PMI and the third PMI corresponding to the selected pre-coding matrix. |
