The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an intermediate film that is for laminated glass and that makes it possible to display an image at a high light emission intensity by irradiating with a light beam; and a laminated glass that includes the intermediate film for laminated glass. The present invention is an intermediate film for laminated glass, said intermediate film comprising a light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer contains a thermoplastic resin and a lanthanide complex comprising a polydentate ligand that includes a halogen atom. The total content of potassium, sodium, and magnesium that are included in the light-emitting layer is 50 ppm or less.
