A motor according to the present invention is provided with a magnetic circuit section including: a stator formed by winding a coil around a stator core; and a rotor on which are secured, about a rotating shaft, a position-detecting sensor magnet and a rotor magnet disposed opposing the stator core. This motor is further provided with: an electronic circuit section having a circuit board on which circuit components, including a magnetism-detecting element, are mounted; and a partition disposed between the magnetic circuit section and the electronic circuit section to separate the respective spaces from each other. This motor has an auxiliary sensor magnet that is flanked by the partition and the magnetism-detecting element and is disposed on the opposite side from the position-detecting sensor magnet, and the auxiliary sensor magnet is fixed to and supported on a rotatable auxiliary shaft that is independent of, and coaxial with, the rotating shaft. |
