The invention relates to a spreading dowel (1) made of at least two different plastics, comprising a main body (2) made of the first plastic, having a spreading region (5), extending along a longitudinal axis (L), with at least two spreading tongues (11, 12) that are separated from one another by a first slot (13), and having a sleeve (6) which is arranged in front of the spreading region (5) in the insertion direction (E), and which can expand in the radial direction. The sleeve (6) is formed by two sleeve parts (8, 9) that are connected to one another by at least one elastic connector (10), and the sleeve is at least partially encased by a casing body (18) made of the second plastic. According to the invention, in order to provide a spreading dowel (1) with improved spreading properties, at least one rib (19), extending in the peripheral direction and projecting radially outwards, is arranged on at least one of the sleeve parts (8, 9), said rib being surrounded by the casing body (18). |
