The wind power plant has a tower mounted on a foundation and a power module with at least one transformer with which electricity generated by a generator in the wind power plant is transformed to a medium or high voltage. The power module is accommodated by a container with a wall arrangement that is arranged between the tower wall and the power module. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of erecting an inventive wind power plant.
