According to the present invention, a display device includes: a display panel including an upper electrode of an organic light emitting diode included in pixels on a substrate and an encap layer located on the upper electrode; a touch panel including a first touch electrode and a second touch electrode facing the upper electrode and separated from each other between the display panel and a cover window covering the display panel; an elastic layer located on the display panel and having an elastic force by external touch and pressure; and a touch detection unit detecting capacitance changed in accordance with interval change between the first and second touch electrodes and the upper electrode, caused by the external pressure, detecting changed capacitance between the first touch electrode and the second touch electrode by the external touch, and sensing a touched location of the touch panel. According to the present invention, the display device can recognize touch and pressure by using one detection unit.
