The present invention relates to a system for transmitting an image displayed on a lock screen and a transmitting method thereof capable of transmitting an image in real time without a communications company server by connecting a transmitter terminal and a receiver terminal one by one through an application; and enabling a receiver to directly confirm the image without a separate operation because the transmitted image is stored in a memory, and the image is displayed on the lock screen of the terminal at the same time. The present invention comprises: a server, the transmitter terminal, and the receiver terminal. The server authenticates a user of a terminal connected through a wired or wireless communications network, and installs the application which transmits the image to the lock screen of the terminal. The transmitter terminal registers an acquaintance of the terminal including the application among acquaintances stored in the terminal as a friend by driving the application; receives the registered friend from the user; receives one or more images among the stored images in the terminal from the user; and transmits the selected image to the terminal of the selected friend. The receiver terminal stores the image transmitted from the transmitter terminal in the memory; and displays the image on the lock screen. |
