PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide 1,4-bis(isocyanate methyl)cyclohexane capable of enhancing required physical properties in various applications, a polyisocyanate composition and a polyurethane resin obtained by using the 1,4-bis(isocyanate methyl)cyclohexane, and further a fiber, a fabric, a nonwoven fabric, a film, a sheet and clothing obtained from the polyurethane resin.SOLUTION: 1,4-bis(isocyanate methyl)cyclohexane contains a trans body with a percentage of 70 mol% to 95 mol% based on the total amount of a cis body and trans body and a percentage content of the compound represented by the following formula (1) of 0.1 ppm to 300 ppm.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
