PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and a head lamp for a vehicle in which degradation of reliability caused by contact failure of a second contact or the like can be suppressed.SOLUTION: In a lighting device 1, when a switching regulator 12 is operated under the state that a second contact 6 is closed, current flows from a DC power source 4 through a second inductance element 16 and a diode 17. Accordingly, current required for the second contact 6 can be secured according to the impedance value of an impedance element (mainly, the inductance value of the second inductance element 16). As a result, in the lighting device 1, a disadvantage such as contact failure or the like is made difficult to occur in the second contact 6, and thus degradation of reliability can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
