The purpose of the present invention is to obtain an air conditioning device that prevents a compressor from having long periods of being idle and suppresses the number of times the compressor is stopped and started, even if the actual air conditioning load is low or the waste heat from a heat generator inside the room to be air conditioned does not return to an indoor unit. This air conditioning device comprises: a refrigerant circuit comprising the compressor, a heat source-side heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and a usage-side heat exchanger that are sequentially connected in a loop; an outlet air temperature sensor that detects the outlet air temperature of air that blown into the room to be air conditioned, after passing through the usage-side heat exchanger, inside the indoor unit having the usage-side heat exchanger provided therein; and a compressor control means that performs either thermostat ON control whereby the compressor 21 is driven or thermostat OFF control whereby the compressor is stopped, such that the outlet air temperature detected by the outlet air temperature sensor approaches a preset set temperature. The air conditioning device is characterized by the next thermostat ON control prohibition time being set in accordance with the air conditioning operation state immediately prior to or during thermostat OFF control. |
