PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission device and a manufacturing method for the same that can enhance the light emission efficiency.SOLUTION: A light emission device includes: a board; a first light emission cell and a second light emission cell each of which contains a first conduction type upper semiconductor layer, an active layer, a second conduction type lower semiconductor layer and a hole which penetrates through the second conduction type lower semiconductor layer and the active layer to expose the first conduction type upper semiconductor layer; and a connector which is disposed between each of the first light emission cell and the second light emission cell and the board, and electrically connects the first light emission cell and the second light emission cell with each other. The hole of the first light emission cell and the hole of the second light emission cell are located in the center area of the first and second light emission cells respectively, and the connector electrically connects the second conduction type lower semiconductor layer of the first light emission cell to the first conduction type upper semiconductor layer which is exposed to the inside of the hole of the second light emission cell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
