PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument that has excellent operability and is capable of surely protecting a pen point during erasing.SOLUTION: The invention provides a writing instrument 1a including: a barrel 2a; a writing body 3a that is disposed in the barrel 2a and has a writing part 31a projecting forward from the barrel 2a; a cap 4a that is oscillatably coupled to the barrel 2a and is at least partially made of an erasing material; and a slider 5a that is disposed in the barrel 2a and slidable in an axial direction. The cap 4a oscillates between a protective position to protect a front end of the writing part 31a and a release position to release the front end by movement of the slider 5a in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
