PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium/titanium mixed oxide, especially a lithium titanate, that can manufacture improved electrode, solid electrolyte and battery, especially secondary lithium ion battery as compared with the well-known material.SOLUTION: The method for producing a lithium titanate which includes forming a mixture of a titanium dioxide and a lithium compound, firing the mixture and pulverizing the lithium titanate in an atmosphere of a dew point of less than -50°C is described in detail. The lithium titanate and the use thereof are disclosed. An anode for a secondary lithium ion battery, a solid electrolyte and the corresponding secondary lithium ion battery are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
