PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club fitting apparatus capable of identifying optimum easiness of swing suitable for a golfer.SOLUTION: There is provided a golf club fitting apparatus comprising an index calculation unit and an optimum index identification unit. The index calculation unit calculates, on the basis of measurement values obtained by measuring swing motions using a plurality of golf clubs, a swing index for characterizing a swing motion for each golf club. The optimum index identification unit, on the basis of the swing index calculated by the index calculation unit, identifies an intersection point between a first regression line and a second regression line and identifies an easiness-of-swing index at the intersection point or in the vicinity of the intersection point. The easiness-of-swing index shows easiness of swing using a golf club. The first regression line is a regression line of swing indexes in a constant region in which a swing index is approximately constant with respect to an easiness-of-swing index. The second regression line is a regression line of swing indexes in a proportional region in which a swing index is approximately proportional to an optimum index, which is an easiness-of-swing index, or an optimum index band.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
