The present technology pertains to an image sensor capable of easily reducing the adverse effects of parasitic capacitance, an electronic device, a signal transmission system, and a control method. An assist signal line is laid out adjacent to and along a vertical signal line (VSL), through which a signal output from a pixel flows, and a signal control unit causes an analogous signal to flow in the assist signal line, said analogous signal being analogous to the signal flowing in the VSL. The present technology can be applied to, for example, an image sensor that has VSLs in which signals output from pixels flow, a signal transmission system that has transmission paths in which signals flow, and so forth. |
