FLASHBACK-REDUCING FUEL INJECTOR

A multiple fuel capable, pre-mixed, low emission injector (10) is provided which is particularly suited for burning high flame speed fuels. The fuel injector (10) includes an injector body (20,22) having a preliminary pre-mixing chamber (44), an intermediate pre-mixing chamber(46) and a final pre-mixing chamber (48). A fuel distributor (30) separates the preliminary pre-mixing chamber (44) from the intermediate pre-mixing chamber (46). A guide vane (32) separates the intermediate pre-mixing chamber (46) from the final pre-mixing chamber(48).
