PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of a fireproof treatment tool and the fireproof treatment tool, capable of easily sticking the fireproof treatment tool to an outer surface of pipeline/piping material already inserted into a penetration part.SOLUTION: A fireproof treatment tool 11 comprises an adhesive layer 13 composed of a viscous material and a pressing layer 12 composed of thermally expansive heat resistant rubber, and a net body 12 is stuck to the adhesive layer 13. For installing the fireproof treatment tool 11, first of all, the fireproof treatment tool 11 is wound by opposing the net body 14 to an outer surface of a waved pipe S, and the fireproof treatment tool 11 is moved along the axial direction of the waved pipe S, and is arranged between a through-hole Wa and the waved pipe S.
