The clamp member pivotably movable relative to the ultrasonic blade between an open configuration and an approximated configuration with respect to the ultrasonic blade, wherein the clamp member is pivotably coupled to the inner tube, wherein the clamp member is pivotably coupled to the outer tube, and wherein movement of the outer tube relative to the inner tube between the first position and the second position transitions the clamp member between the open configuration and the approximate configuration.

a shaft assembly, comprising:
an inner tube defining a longitudinal axis; andan outer tube at least partially surrounding the inner tube, the outer tube movable relative to the inner tube along the longitudinal axis between a first position and a second position; an ultrasonic transducer assembly comprising an ultrasonic transducer; and an end effector assembly, comprising:
an ultrasonic blade acoustically coupled to the ultrasonic transducer, wherein the ultrasonic blade extends through the inner tube, and wherein the ultrasonic blade extends at least partially along the longitudinal axis; anda clamp member pivotably movable relative to the ultrasonic blade between an open configuration and an approximated configuration with respect to the ultrasonic blade, wherein the clamp member is pivotably coupled to the inner tube, wherein the clamp member is pivotably coupled to the outer tube, and wherein movement of the outer tube relative to the inner tube between the first position and the second position transitions the clamp member between the open configuration and the approximate configuration.
