METHOD FOR LEARNING LINGUISTIC UNITS OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

The invention relates to the field of information technology and can be used for learning foreign languages. A device touchscreen displays a linguistic unit of a foreign language and at least two possible translations for same in the native language, one of which translations is correct. In order to unlock the device via touch-input, the given representation of the linguistic unit is moved onto one of the translation options. When the linguistic unit is moved onto the correct translation option, the touchscreen is automatically unlocked. In the case of a mistake, the option is provided for unlocking the touchscreen by using a device control function or by moving the given representation of the linguistic unit to another translation option. The invention makes it possible to learn unknown foreign words at the same time as unlocking a touchscreen.
