The present invention provides an information processing system for selecting a combination of software and hardware in a more preferable manner during automatic construction of an information system. The information processing system is provided with: a means for deriving, from a set of specific workflows which are abstract workflows including function-denoting abstract components to which specific components are allocated, an optimum solution set with relatively excellent resource/performance characteristics; a means for generating resource configuration information for the specific workflows of the optimum solution set; and a means for generating and outputting system configuration information including information about resources to be preferentially used with respect to the resource configuration information. |
