PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a creep of an inside cylinder part, in an outer ring of a hub unit which is reduced in weight by holding the steel-made inside cylinder part by a light alloy steel-made housing member.SOLUTION: In an outer member of a hub unit, a cylinder part in which an outside raceway surface 22 is formed at an internal periphery, and a flange part 29 are integrally formed. The cylinder part is constituted of an inside cylinder part 21 and an outside cylinder part 28. The inside cylinder part 21 is formed of steel, and the outside raceway surface 22 is formed at the internal periphery. The outside cylinder part 28 is formed of light alloy steel, arranged at the outside of a radial direction of the inside cylinder part 21, and molded by insert-molding the inside cylinder part 21. Fitting faces of the inside cylinder part 21 and the outside cylinder part 28 are formed into tapered shapes in reverse directions as progressing toward both ends in an axial direction from a center of the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
