PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footstep cleaning device for a passenger conveyor which can improve economical efficiency.SOLUTION: A footstep cleaning device for cleaning a footstep 1 in which plural grooves 107 are formed so as to form plural footboard cleats 108 is equipped with a push-in tool 201 having plural insertion parts 203 which are inserted into the grooves 107, and a waste cloth 202 which is provided in the push-in tool 201 so as to cover the insertion parts 203 and is provided with plural slits 205.
