a non-transitory memory storing computer-executable instructions; and a processor that executes the computer-executable instructions to at least:
receive a graphical data input from an ink-over interface, wherein the graphical data input comprises an annotation associated with at least a portion of a patient's body displayed by the electronic medical chart;perform optical symbol recognition to identify the annotation;determine information associated with the annotation based on information stored in a recognition engine; andstore the information associated with the annotation as structured data associated with the at least the portion of the patient's body in an electronic health record. |
