Embodiments of the present invention provide a relay implementing method and device. A terminal serving as a first terminal comprises: a processing unit, used for establishing a first bearer with a second terminal, the first terminal serving as a relay device between the second terminal and a base station; a receiving unit, used for receiving through the first bearer a service request message sent by the second terminal; and a sending unit, used for forwarding the service request message to the base station. The receiving unit is also used for receiving a first service response message that is sent by the base station and comprises configuration information of a bearer between the base station and the second terminal. The sending unit is also used for forwarding the first service response message to the second terminal through the first bearer. The processing unit is also used for establishing according to fourth configuration information a second bearer with the second terminal and a third bearer with the base station, the second bearer and the third bearer serving as the bearers between the second terminal and the base station. Therefore, a process of using a terminal as a relay device between another terminal and a base station is implemented, the network deployment cost is saved, and the network complexity is simplified. |
