The present invention pertains to the technological field of electric household appliances, preferably machines for making and dispensing beverages, and relates to a plunger driving assembly having technical, structural and functional properties designed to ensure the precise, reliable and effective movement of the plunger, and also to control and position the plunger in such a way as to crush the beverage capsules in the suitable manner when making beverages. More particularly, the present invention relates to a plunger driving assembly comprising a structural cover (11) for housing a motor (12) which actuates a spindle (13) for moving at one end a plunger (14) inside the channel (D) in the body of the device for supporting and crushing the capsule (P), while the opposite end of the spindle (13) comprises a sleeve (15) having at least one flap (16) moved along a slot (17) in the structural cover (11), the ends of the slot (17) being provided with position sensors (18), one for the start of stroke 18a and the other for the end of stroke 18b. |
