Provided is a method for producing, by means of mechanical pulverization, a resin powder having a high bulk density and an average particle size of 50 µm or less from resin particles having a PFA melting point of 260-320 °C and having a fluorine-containing copolymer as the main component. This method is used to obtain a resin powder having an average particle size of 0.02-50 µm by carrying out mechanical pulverization treatment on resin particles (A) having an average particle size of 100 µm or more. The resin particles (A) comprise a material (X) having a fluorine-containing copolymer (X1) as the main component, said fluorine-containing copolymer (X1) having a unit (1) based on a monomer that includes at least one type of functional group selected from the group consisting of carbonyl group-containing groups, hydroxy groups, epoxy groups, and isocyanate groups, and having a unit (2) based on tetrafluoroethylene, wherein the melting point is 260-320 °C. |
