PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input remarks using standardized terms in a simple way.SOLUTION: A support device (3) used in a laboratory includes: a display (38); a support information storage (352) that has previously stored support information; an inspection findings storage (354) for storing an inspection findings of an endoscopy; an instruction input part (32, 33); and a remark input processor (303). The support information includes: data about a plurality of disease names for specifying a plurality of diseases that may occur in a hollow organ; and data about a plurality of behaviors that is associated with the data about a plurality of disease names and specifies a behavior of a disease. The remark input processor (303), once a user has specified a hollow organ site in an endoscopy, successively displays a disease name selection screen and a behavior selection screen based on the support information, and stores a disease name and behavior selected by the user as remark input data in association with the specified site in the inspection findings storage (354).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
