1. An apparatus that plugs into a towing vehicle towing plug and a trailer plug, comprising: (a) an outer housing; (b) plug pins contained inside said outer housing for connecting the electrical circuit(s) between the towing vehicle and the trailer; (c) a printed circuit board (PCB) contained inside the outer housing, wherein said PCB is wired to the plug pins and receives power from the towing vehicle's power circuit; (d) a processor and memory chip mounted on said PCB; (e) software code stored in said memory chip, wherein said software code facilitates the testing of the electrical circuits of a trailer; (f) a wireless module mounted on said PCB, wherein electric circuit data is transmitted wirelessly to an electronic data processing device (EDP), wherein said EDP contains one of the following: a mobile software application; software compatible with the EDP's operating system that has a user interface that manages and displays the data from the PCB. |
